Bye Bye 2009...You Were a Good Year!

2009 was indeed a very good year. I started this blog in early July of 2009 and now end it with my 50th post! Just call me calculating! (Grin) I met a lot of nice cyber friends and I learned a lot of new things. I enjoyed making all my Wild Women. I found myself more centered in my artistic endeavors which ended up with new paths leading out from that center. I am trying new techniques, new ideas, and incorporating it all into my projects whether they be quilties or wearables, or whatever!!!

Thank you for all your words of encouragement along this journey and thank you 2009! See you next year!!!

How do I Manage to Forget??????? Hmmmmm!!!

When I got home from my guild's Christmas party Friday, DH had our little tree up, lit, and decorated. I don't know how I manage to forget, but seeing some of the ornaments always brings fresh surprises! Things I didn't think about all year long soon took on a new interest....such as these ornaments I made back in my woodworking days!

Bringing up the Rear

Every parade has it's stragglers and I just spotted these two...they must have stopped along the way for a latte!

Wild Women on the March

Finally, I am at the tail end of dealing with yo-yos! These are based loosely on an example in the book entitled "Wild Women" by Sarah Lawrence.

Well, the parade is over and it's time to gather for some hot coffee and doughnuts...it's cold outside!

This 'n That

I'm finally starting to make things out of my fabric paper. Here are some inchie charms I will be attaching to journal covers. There will be more fabric paper projects to come!

Here's block #3 of the block of the month from Two Creative Studios.

Below is the November Zizzy Dot +1 swap. I'm a little late posting. (Blush)
